The petition
Complaint #1. That only those with "adult" Live accounts can access the incorporation of MSN into the dashboard.
Complaint #2. That "child" accounts do not become "adult" accounts once the user turns 18 years of age.
Complaint #3. That minors have unrestricted access to MSN on a PC, yet microsoft see fit to restrict access on the Xbox 360.
Complaint #4. That the tech support people are advising that people create new gamertags, thereby causing content that has been paid for, achivements unlocked, friends lists and Gold memberships that still have months to run are to be wasted.
Basically what this shows is that Microsoft don't care about alienating something like half their paying subscribers, people who are underage, or have been underage at one stage while still customers of Microsoft. Microsoft don't care that they have erred greatly in their judgement, and if they do care about us, they will fix the problem swiftly.
Microsoft: We have invested in your machine.... we pay you to use the service to the fullest, yet you do not allow us to do so. We're just asking for this to be fixed, that's not a big ask. When it gets fixed, we will be happy again.
Please Sign this patition so we can try and show microsoft that we want these problems fixed ASAP.
