| 59 | Gary San Angel | Please support the Gilbert Arts Project. Their existence is a vital part of the Philadelphian community and should not be eliminated due to the Pennsylvania Convention Center's expansion. I urge you to place this project on top of your agenda. They will lose their home this coming January if no action is taken. Its on your watch. Let it be a win-win solution. Make the Gilberts Arts Project a reality! |
| 60 | Ashley Suarez | The Asian Arts Initiative (AAI) is an important part of the local community. It not only provides support for Philadelphia youth but also fosters creativity and a sense of investment in the communuty. AAI programs provide structure in young lives and encourages them to explore their own identities as well as the idea of collective identity through art. Their shows and events provide unique spaces where individuals can grow and learn about themselves and the people around them. AAI has enabled a greater understanding of individuals' diverse backgrounds and experiences and embodies the city's former motto of "Brotherly Love." I urge you as government officials and community leaders to help ensure the continuity of the Asian Arts Initiative through support of the Gilbert Arts Project. |

| 84 | Hazel Isa | I have been a supporter and contributor to the Asian Arts Initiative since its inception and have personally seen the many projects that the youth and community members have been involved in.
We are asking for your support in order to continue the work that the Asian Arts Initiative has worked so hard to achieve. |
| 85 | Theresa Shockley | Everyone acknowledges how valuable the arts are to the city and yet we can’t seem to do right by them, they’re like education and our children. We go on and on about how important they both are and yet we treat they like we don’t care about them! Please remember and do right by the things that are truly important to maintaining a healthy society vs a rich one. |
