| 104 | Anonymous | taxes are a lot of money and most of us dont have it for our kids...please do this for us. |
| 105 | Anonymous | Govener Manchin should reinstate the tax free holiday in west virginia not only would it benifit wv retailers but it will also help wv famalies. Most people who are school shopping would travel a few extra miles to go out of state to purchase clothing for their children to save money. Wv should have the tax free holiday so we dont loose so much revenue. |

| 108 | melissa adkins | Please reinstate the tax free school shopping. This is very helpful to low income families who don't qualify for clothing vouchers! |

| 118 | Charity M. Richmond | I am outraged that WV, one of the poorest states in the nation, does not have a back-to-school tax-free shopping day/weekend. It is difficult for parents to afford the expense of properly clothing and supplying our children at the beginning of each school year. That is, unless, those parents happen to be employed by the state and whose paychecks are being supplied by other parents tax dollars. The governor may not need the tax break, but I do. |

| 120 | Paula Knoops | My husband works in retail, and we know how hard it is to purchase school items. We do not receive clothing vouchers , so cut the tax payers and the working people a break. Reinstate the Tax free weekend |

| 127 | Lori M | West Virginia is far behind other states. It needs to research other states on how to use the tax dollar and find a way to give back to the people. All I see is promotion of tourism. Hey what about the ones who live here year around???!!!! |

What all the bar's and strip joints?
Reinstate the Back to School tax free weekend in W.Va.
I'm not poor enough for clothing vouchers but i'm not rich.
We are one of the poorest states and our Governer can't give us a break.
I'll have to drive to Va. and give them my hard earned money this weekend.
Thanks Gov. Manchin I'm helping sales go down in my home of West Virginia which will also help people to lose their job's.
Open for business Virginia here i come this weekend with my hard earned money. |
| 129 | Kathleen Lambert | WV complains that those of us who live close to state boundaries often shop across the state line causing WV to loose valuable tax dollars. How can they blame us when VA has something like a tax free shopping day and it's so close??!! |
