| 201 | Dave Hewitt | Here in England the Railway Preservation movement has ensured that an important part of our history is maintained for current and future generations to enjoy. The preserved railways provide a unique educational resource and give pleasure to millions of visitors each year. In Wales the Ffestiniog Railway is the biggest tourist attraction of all, bringing prosperity to the area where industry was in decline. America has very little heritage by comparison with the UK. Don't lose it. |

| 204 | Brian M. Marriott | Many critical elements of our national history are being destroyed by greed thinly disguised and justified as "progress". I support this worthy effort to preserve some of our rapidly dwindling historic artifacts. |
| 205 | David Drake | The history of our state, and country must survive in more than books. Being able to walk along the rails of the West Side Lumber Company will speak volumes to any visitor. Save the line, please. |
| 206 | Richard Knepp | This country is loosing it's history at an alarming rate. There must be a more suitable place to put a "Golf Course". |
| 207 | Will Gant | Such a historic Railraod should be preserved, not turned into a golf course. there are plenty of golf corses already, we dont need another one
We need to preserve such sites for future generations, beyond mine even, so that they can tough history as well |
| 208 | Jeremy Gilbert | Our history NEEDs to be preserved, development is great but there has to be a balance, this is an important part of our american history |
| 209 | Anonymous | Living history demonstrations have and always will draw tourist dollars. The West Side Lumber recreation would certainly be no exception as it is well-known worldwide in modeling circles. This could possibly be made into a tourist passenger operation as well, setting the Tribe's Casino apart from the rest as unique. I have over 30 years experience with tourist railroading and have met passengers form all over the globe-some even returning year after year. Whenever we work together to accommodate one another's' wishes, we create a better place for all. |

| 218 | Paul K | A Casino and Golf is not conducive to family fun and the can create crime and gambling problems. It would be a shame to destroy something of historic value just to make a few bucks. |
| 219 | Allen Kellogg | I have been modeling west side fo almost 15 years got to see it this summer wish I had gone 15 years ago. Anything that can be saved would be a plus.

| 225 | Robert Burket | Such a preservation would provide an enriching site in Tuolumne, and as the general interest in the West Side has been growing steadily, it would make an increasing contribution to the area. |

| 235 | Mr. Gail E. Dunning | A great idea to preserve the history of this famous logging railroad. |
| 236 | Russell Casey | The history of the West Side Lumber Co. goes hand in hand with the history of Tolumne county. The historic significence of the last narrow gauge logging railroad should be recognised. |
