| 1463 | Anonymous | Note: not only the roads are bad due to uneven roads, potholes, etc. I would like to see the following list of Municipal roads that should be 4-laned:
*Municipal Road 35 between Chelmsford and Azilda - This road is dangerous and is a bottleneck!!!

Possibly Big Nickle Mine Rd.
Also, addition of a interchange at Municipal Rd. 55 at highway 17 west, just west of Whitefish towards Nairn Centre and Espanola, where the 4-laning ends.
The following roads in the Chelmsford/Dowling area that needs to be upgraded and fixed:
New Cobden Road - Terrible!!!
Simmons Road -Terrible!!!
Vermilion Lake Road

I'm not even sure if they know where their priorities are or what their jobs entail anymore with all the confusion growing greater with past scandals, deceptions, denials, misplaced funds and efforts only to mention a few, WAKE UP SUDBURY , if you think the roads are bad what about the rest of the infrastructure, if we are not carefull, outhouses are going to make a comeback. |

| 1475 | A | As a City insider I know exactly why our roads are falling apart. The City 'looks the other way' as the contracting company takes clay and dirt from one work area and dumps it into another, instead of using clean gravel fill that will not expand and contract. There are always at least two jobs on the go to allow this. It has very little to do with trucking due to mining.
North Bay does not have our problem - they have the same climate. The City will always attempt to confuse the public with misleading statements mixed with a bit of reality. |
