The world cup voting procedure was marred by allegations of corruption and misconduct by FIFA executive committee members and bidding nations. These conditions were not the environment to hold a vote on which host nation should have the privilege to host the biggest sporting competition in the world. After observing the winners of the two votes, without a sufficient enquiry beforehand, it is reasonable to suspect that corruption and misconduct may have occurred. It is therefore my opinion the vote should be carried out again after a proper investigation has been carried out and all guilty parties duly punished.
