    Comments: It would be nice if my 15 year old son could walk around the borough without being "mugged" for his phone all the time. So far nothing violent, but a friend was stabbed recently - these are completely innocent, law abiding kids who should be able to explore the local area as a natural part fo growing up.

    Comments: Every week I hear about another sexual assault, violent attack and gang-related incident in Waltham Forest. This borough appears more like a run down inner city area than the leafy suburb it actually is. We need to feel safe on our streets and in our homes.Waltham Forest is failing to keep crime down to acceptable levels - we must increase policing numbers and the visibility of police urgently.

    Comments: It is disgraceful that residents are forced to suffer the constant incididents of anti-social behaviour and witness people being attacked. I was left shocked this week witnessing a man getting attacked by a big group of teenagers. We need more police especially in the surroundings of Walthamstow Central station.

    Comments: We have a flexible and responsive police service in WF, but there is do doubt they are under strength given the workload they face. The extra officers identified will make a real difference.

    Comments: I have lived in walthamstow most of my life, I am 60. This used to be a great place to live but unfortunately it is not a safe place to live and I no longer feel safe. We need to see more police on our streets (not Community Police) we need to be tough with the criminals who live amongst us.

    Comments: There are certain parks and areas I cannot go for fear of gangs and anti social behaviour, and this is after 2pm in the afternoon. The borough has so much potential and full of lovely spaces being ruined by a few. Fly tipping is a massive problem and making the area look and feel like a dump. Please, we need more help to deal with these problems.
