Comments: I believe that if the student is doing well in his/her studies and is mature enough, that they should be given the opportunity to be allowed to work and earn money for their future.

Comments: I love this idea as a fantastic way to teach younger teens good work ethics, however it is important to add a way for homeschool students the same opportunity rather than have the permit depend on decisions made by traditional schools.

Comments: I agree. I am 15 and it is so hard for me to find a job now. I think that by legalizing this, I will get an oppertunity to make my own money and carry my own responsibilities as an American citizen.

Comments: I believe this is true. If stores are going to charge young kids they should give them jobs. If stores dont want 14 yr. olds to work then they shouldn't ask teens for their help around the store.

Comments: Yess! I Agree! I'm 14 years old and I have been looking for a job for about a week, and all the places I have went to have only been for 16 or 18 and up. I don't think thats fair. So Yess, I think 14 year olds should be able to get a job permint.
