we got the news that the bus depot plan is officially scrapped. i am so relieved that the school and our neighborhood can stay just the way they are. thank you for keeping up the pressure because it really worked.

STOP THE WOODSON BUS DEPOT
In support of the Woodson PTSO and the Woodson Parking Lot Coalition (WPLC), we the undersigned oppose the FCPS (Fairfax County Public School's) plan for a Woodson Bus Depot, at the intersection of Litte River Turnpike (Rt 236) & Pickett Road.
We ask that the Fairfax County Planning Commission deny the FCPS 2232 application request to build a new bus depot on the Woodson campus.

The intersection of 236 and Pickett is bad enough as it is. Adding heavy bus traffic is a recipe for a major accident. BAD IDEA.
Please dont do this to our neighborhood. It will ruin the area and make the morning drop off impossible.
Traffic on Pickett is already a total nightmare. Sending buses in and out of there all day is just common sense suicide for the commute.
Absolutely not. My kids go to school here and I dont want them around all that pollution and noise.
This is a school, not a bus garage. Leave our kids alone.
