I am against the oil-fired Progress Energy power plant proposed for Woodfin because it endangers the health and welfare of the citizens and the environment, it is expensive, it will contribute to global warming, and it is unnecessary.
I support efficient and clean, renewable energy and request elected and appointed officials join in endorsing this effort.
