We, the parents of Woodbine Avenue School # 23 vehemently oppose your placement of Dr. John Crowe to Woodbridge Middle School. We feel that it is an unconscionable act to remove such impeccable leadership from our school, mid-year, especially in light of the upcoming PARCC testing. If you, as a body, go through with this change, we fear that our students and staff will go through another unnecessary period of transition; at a most inopportune time.
Over the last five years we have seen four principals come through what we feel is a revolving door to our school. We, as parents, want the best possible education for our children. Dr. John Crowe, and his exemplary and compassionate leadership, ensure that we will get it. His commitment to excellence is emulated by both students and staff, and we cannot think of a better role model for both our sons, and our daughters.
We find it highly unlikely that there is no other worthy candidate for the Woodbridge Middle School position in the entire district.
