Comments: I know many religious women who would make great priests. They already minister to many. I don't think Jesus would discriminate.

Comments: Women should be allowed to be priests! It is not right in the new culture that we are still discriminated against! IT is wrong and it must be ended. Jesus doesn't discrimate... Why do the priests Why!

Comments: I believe this is way overdue. I am tired of the Church living in the old ages - let's give ourselves a chance to have a real Church where everyone is a participant in every aspect of the Church.

Comments: Dying Man's Plea Dear As you read this mail, I don't want you to feel sorry for me because, I believe everyone will die one day. My Name is sheik Shaffer Umaru a merchant in Dubai, in the U.A.E. I have been diagnosed with Esophageal cancer. I have defiled all forms of medical treatment and right now I have only a few months to live. According to medical experts. I have not really lived my life so well, As I never cared for anyone {not even myself} but my Business. Though I am very rich, I was never generous, as I was always hostile to and only focused on my business, as that was the only thing I cared about. But now I regret all this as I now know that there is more to life than just wanting to have or make all the money in this world. I believe when God gives me a second chance to come back to this world I would live my life a different way from how I lived it. Now that God Has called me, I have willed and given most of my property and assets to my immediate and extended family members as well as a few close friends. I want God to be merciful to me and accept my soul so I have decided to give alms to charity organizations. As I want this to be one of the last good deeds I do on earth. So far, I have distributed money to some charity organization in the U.A.E, Malaysia and Ethiopia. Now that my health has deteriorated so I cannot do this myself anymore. Once I asked members of my family to close one of my accounts and distribute the money, which I have in the account to charity organization in Kosovo and Africa, They refused and kept the money for themselves. Hence I do not trust them anymore as they seem not to Be contended with what I have left for them so I believe I will rather trust a total stranger like you instead of my Family because they saw my sickness as an opportunity to make money out of me. The last of the which no one knows of is just in cash deposit of Twenty One Million United States Dollars {$21,000,000,00} I kept this money with a Finance and Security company abroad and I will want you to help me Collect this deposit and dispatch it to charity organizations around the world. I have set out 20% of the money for your time and will like you to Promise me that you will honor my wish and distribute the money even when am gone. Due to my health, I cannot go to the office again and will not be able to call you so please contact me through my above mail .so that I will give you all the information's and instruct you on how to claim the money before I die. I will be waiting to hear from you, God bless you as you answer this call. Yours truly, Umaru Sheik Shaffer

Comments: The fact that women cannot become priest is an outrage. It is absolutely ridiculous to think that a woman cannot spread the word of God the same as a man can. I cannot believe that the Church would believe that Jesus Christ our lord and savior would go out of his way to keep women from being priests

Comments: Why not have women priest Jesus did empower women with the same faith men were given. Jesus delegated duties to both men and women concerning the sharing of God's Word. Mostly it was Christ, Jesus who made it clear all men and women received the annointing of the Holy Spirit for the ministries ahead. I find it had to beleive, and I shouldn't, that some men have not seen the light. What are they afraid of What is the big secret to being a "priest" Is it celebacy Hellooooo, being there, done that!!! Or is it that men are still insecured about letting go of control, letting God control Who knows, this is only my thoughts, nothing more. I'd like to know what other women think about this.

Comments: i hate that people blame the lack of vocation to the priesthood on not letting women in. in all honesty, all vocations of service are suffering. Marriage as a 50% failure rate. Teachers, social workers, missionaries, and vocations all over are suffering. Also, the Catholic Church is not sexist. The church upholds a woman--Mary--s God's highest creation. In the story of Creation, woman is the climax of creation. Neither man nor the world is complete without her. I am a Catholic woman. I understand the theological reasons as to why women are not priests. Those who judge this are ignorant to these facts. Jesus Christ was a radical. He could have very well chosen women to be His disciples. He interacted with them all the time. The church is merely upholding Christ's decision--and if you'll remember, that's its job. I admire the fact that the church does not change with the times. The church is an institution of integrity and truth, and therefore it must uphold it as best as it can. Does it always no. it is run by sinners (also a beautiful thing). but it is divinely influenced, and i believe it is right in this decision.

Comments: Yes, women should be allowed to become Catholic Priests because priests are Jesus' representatives, not Jesus himself. Therefore, everyone are called to become priests, not just male. Otherwise, it would become a sexist issue in the Catholic Church.
