Comments: I completely believe in and support this initiative. There is a large number of qualified Libyan women in Libya and abroad and it is important to see them have a more active role in our new Libya. This revolution was not only about removing the past regime, but about bringing about and implementing a truly new, democratic and efficient system. We can only achieve this by maximising on our resources and one way of doing this is by inviting the contribution of all aspects of our great nation, one of which is its women. I hope to see more female figures contribute to the future of Libya not only to prove to the world that this great revolution had a lot more to it than just a revolt against a flawed system but to also speed up the reform process efficiently and capitalising on what we already have. Ultimately, the 17 February revolution should also revolutionise our mentalities!

Comments: I fully support this petition, however the Libyan women are not waiting for a green light that allows them to contribute to build the new Libya .Many Libyan women since 40 years ago were very active in the political oppositions parties against the dictator , and many other great women have been , since the 17 of february revolution, very active on many fronts. Proud with the youth of Libya and confidant they shall lead our country to a better and safe future. Thanks for the team behind this initiative.
