We the undersigned petition Wolverhampton City Council to withdraw controlled parking zones in the streets surrounding Molineux Stadium based on the following:- 1 - The introduction of controlled parking zones pushes the issue into a wider catchment area as supporters identify alternative parking. 2 - It will not cure the problem. It simply moves to a new location. 3 - A reduction in available on street parking drives more vehicles onto fewer streets, causes congestion and potentially creates further traffic management problems over a wider area. 4 - We believe the introduction of Controlled Parking Zones has been both counter-productive and unhelpful. We call for the Council to reconsider its position and withdraw them.
