We the undersigned petition Wolverhampton City Council to withdraw controlled parking zones in the streets surrounding Molineux Stadium based on the following:-
1 - The introduction of controlled parking zones pushes the issue into a wider catchment area as supporters identify alternative parking.
2 - It will not cure the problem. It simply moves to a new location.
3 - A reduction in available on street parking drives more vehicles onto fewer streets, causes congestion and potentially creates further traffic management problems over a wider area.
4 - We believe the introduction of Controlled Parking Zones has been both counter-productive and unhelpful. We call for the Council to reconsider its position and withdraw them.
Wolverhampton City Council is finally feeling the heat because this momentum proves the public is fed up with their disaster of a parking scheme. They thought they could ignore us but this surge of support shows they cannot hide from their own failures anymore.

Living near the stadium is a nightmare already. These zones dont help anyone they just make it harder for us to have friends over.

Total waste of money from the council. My street is packed with cars every weekend now because of this stupid idea.

Sort it out. The parking moves one street over and creates the same mess for everyone else. Fix the actual problem instead of just painting lines.
