Comments: I cannot name even one WNBA player. They are not super stars, or even stars at all. They play a game at a level equal to high school girls basketball. $30,000 is too much for them. They should feel lucky that they are being paid for playing a game that no one is watching. There is no excitement in a WNBA game! Answer me this, who won the WNBA slam dunk competition Oh yeah.

Comments: I agree, I'm a financial advisor in Houston who works primarily with professional athletes and I can attest that the WNBA players put in as much work as the NBA players. I hope in time the salaries of both leagues will come a little closer together. Greg

Comments: Im thirteen years old and looking foward to someday play pro ball for the WNBA its a shame that women that can play basketball just as good as men (and sometimes better)are getting cheated out of the money they deserve I hope that this petion will make a difference who ever started this pettion is a genus and its people like them who make this world somewhat desant.

Comments: I wasn't sure what the WNBA players made but looking at the numbers above, that is very low. Now in fairness to NBA players, you have to look at the revenue that they bring in. Some of there salary is based on this and right now the WNBA has not reached that level yet but hopefully it will soon. Don't take this as a diss on the the woman who play basketball or any other sport because i agree that they should get more but I also think that the level of play and revenue will need to come up and with that so will their salaries. Thank you.
