Name: WNBA Sucks on Aug 31, 2003State:Country:Comments: I cannot name even one WNBA player. They are not super stars, or even stars at all. They play a game at a level equal to high school girls basketball. $30,000 is too much for them. They should feel lucky that they are being paid for playing a game that no one is watching. There is no excitement in a WNBA game! Answer me this, who won the WNBA slam dunk competition Oh yeah.Flag

I hope in time the salaries of both leagues will come a little closer together. GregFlag

Name: Maurice Brown on Sep 9, 2003State: TXCountry: USComments: I wasn't sure what the WNBA players made but looking at the numbers above, that is very low. Now in fairness to NBA players, you have to look at the revenue that they bring in. Some of there salary is based on this and right now the WNBA has not reached that level yet but hopefully it will soon. Don't take this as a diss on the the woman who play basketball or any other sport because i agree that they should get more but I also think that the level of play and revenue will need to come up and with that so will their salaries. Thank you.Flag
