| 679 | Hoang Nguyen | WKU was granted several thousands from winning the Chase JP Morgan Green contest. This money was to be used for going green, but we have yet to see this. This money should be used to save the environment. I encourage everyone to push for the installation of bathroom and hallway motion detectors for the lights. For several hours everynight all dorms hallways and bathrooms stay on wasting countless amounts of energy. By installing cheap motion detectors to activate these lights a significant amount of energy will be saved and the detectors will pay themselves off. And the hallways will still remain lit when activity is going on. |
