Ok so who here is really cheesed off at the fact that wizard 101 CLAIMS its free, but you cannot progress to important parts of wizard city without either:

a) buying a ton of crowns in order to "buy" the area,

b) buying a wiz 101 membership, or

c) getting "free" crowns by referring friends. which sounds good, but the crowns are in fact NOT free. not only does the friend you refer have to signup and play wiz 101, but THEY actually have to buy something in order for EITHER of you to get the so-called "free" crowns.

who here thinks this is a tad ridiculous? i understand the site needs to make money. but they can do that by allowing people to buy things in the crown store or the membership. nothing wrong with that. HOW EVER, i think i speak for a lot of us when i say that they SHOULD NOT be able to lock areas like firecat alley and cyclops lane that are SIGNIFICANT TO THE GAME PLOT and require SOMEONE to buy SOMETHING in order for you to access those areas. This is especially true for those of us that are broke and dont HAVE generous friends/family mebbers or fellow nerd friends that wanna even PLAY the game, let alone buy stuff so we can get free crowns. so bottom line: its false advertisement. the game is "free to play", but only until a certain point. and by that time, you are already so addicted to the game that you are now very frustrated and stuck.

So who's sick of this? who says wizard 101 should leave the purchasing limited to memberships and the crown store and let us get to those special world areas WITHOUT being hassled to spend money we dont have??? If you agree, SIGN THIS PETITION and let them know about it! FREE AREA ACCESS NOWWWW!!!!!
