Bring wardens back to Sheltered Housing!

THIS is "Sheltered Housing" Amy lay injured on the floor for 13 hours. When finally discovered, she had hypothermia and kidney failure, and her children were told she would probably not live. After weeks in hospital, she did pull through. Now she lives in daily fear that it could happen again at any time. THERE WAS NO WARDEN ON SITE. Harry lay dead on the floor for three days before his body was discovered by a delivery man. THERE WAS NO WARDEN ON SITE. Edith had a heart attack and pulled her cord, but the paramedics could not get into the building to help her. She would have been safer if she had not moved into Sheltered Housing! THERE WAS NO WARDEN ON SITE. Michael needed life-saving medication, but the chemist cancelled all deliveries because there was no one to let their driver into the building. THERE WAS NO WARDEN ON SITE. Kitty was discharged from hospital after a triple-bypass heart operation. When she got home, there was no food in her flat, not even bread and milk. She sat on the bed and thought, "What next" No answer came, so she put on her coat and went to the store herself. THERE WAS NO WARDEN ON SITE. Could this be happening to your grandparents Your parents Could it be the fate that is waiting for you PLEASE SIGN OUR PETITION TO BRING BACK THE WARDENS! Please! We feel abandoned, isolated, and afraid. W.I.S.H. - WARDENS IN SHELTERED HOUSING

11 months ago Comments: I live on a sheltered housing estate and very similar things have already happened here. We have a site manager who lives on site but will not work after his agreed hours (9-5 with break for lunch) and therefore there is no one on duty at night or at weekends - we are on our own.
