Please sign our petition to the Koch Brothers, who are helping fund the Wisconsin public employee battle.

Dear Charles D. Koch and David H. Koch,

Please join the public employees of Wisconsin in making your fair sacrifice to help with the state budget crisis. Since you support Governor Walker’s demand for Wisconsin Public Employees to reduce their pay and benefits in order to balance the state budget, we are petitioning you to do the same. Therefore, we ask you to pledge to take the following steps for the next two years:

1) Reduce your take home pay by a net of 8% over your 2010 take home pay;

2) Pay directly out of your personal (not corporate) income 50% of the cost of your retirement benefits, include IRA, 401(k), severance pay or any other post-retirement benefits provided by your companies;

3) Pay directly out of your personal (not corporate) income, 12% of the total cost of health care benefit costs, including any post-retirement health care costs for you and your families, provided by your companies;

4) Agree to limit your increase in total compensation, including base salary, bonuses, deferred compensation, stock options and any other form of income, to increases in Consumer Price Index for the previous year;

5)  Donate all money saved to the Wisconsin General Fund Budget.

Since the Wisconsin public employees have already agreed to these concessions in order to help Wisconsin balance its budget, fair is fair. Please do your part.
