   Comments: I am all in favor of supporting home businesses and those who try to gain income for their family through the use of cottage industries. I believe that having a home based bakery business is perfectly reasonable when the "buyer" knows that it isn't coming from a commercial kitchen. I think we have stifled too many people who want to make money "the old fashioned way". Please consider enacting this law and free up more people to pursue their own means of making money in a way that brings enjoyment to them.

    Comments: PLEASE consider this law - there are so many small bakers in Wisconsin who would love to take their hobby and make it a business, but find the level of red-tape and health department restrictions (developed for large commercial operations) to be too cumbersome to navigate. Florida just passed a cottage food act this past year. Here is the link, page down to Page 26, Line 726 and read from that point. http://www.flsenate.gov/Session/Bill/2011/7209/BillText/er/PDF It simplifies the rules and regulations home bakers need to adhere to, and limits the income that can be made in such a venture.

    Comments: We have the "pickle law" Now I personally know people who have gotten ill from improperly canned fruits and vegetables. I've never heard of anyone getting sick from improperly made cakes or pies... Please give us a cottage food law for baked goods!!!!
