I think schools should start changing summer vacation to winter vacation and winter break to a summer break. Nobody wants to get out in the early, bitter cold winter mornings, clean off, and heat up there cars, and scrape windows until there fingers and toes are numb and in pain. If it snows the night before you have to get up even earlier and go out in the bitter cold and clear out your driveways. It's an aweful experience, you agree? The roads are slick and unsafe most of the time. Why would we want to be out driving with the increased risk of getting into an accident? In these cold times we want to be somewhere warm, the perfect time for a vacation. We're tired in the winter, we want to be bundled up warm in our houses. Think of it as a time to stay inside and clear up your clutter that has been piling up, and get organized, and you would have plenty of time to do so and also take a nice vacation if you wanted to. A brief two week summer vacation would be enough time for kids to get out hang out at the beach, or home, kick back and enjoy the weather. A short weekend, or weeklong vacation would be all you need in the summer is my opinion. If you follow me, please make yourself heard as well.
