Comments: Development appropriate in size and scope for our community is logical. The enormity of this project is not what Winona needs.

Comments: This land is wasted as big box stores. The economic gain is short-lived and leads to only few low paying long-term jobs once construction is over. This area should not be wasted with big box development. It trashes up the neighbourhood with very little economic benefit and a great many costs. It runs in the opposite direction of mixed use development, which is the direction we need to be heading.

Comments: We need to protect our green space and redevelop the brown space in and around Hamilton. This proposal in this area is not in any way a thought out plan for our future and the future of our children!

Comments: I am totally against another Walmart being built in my community when there are plenty of other larger stores and a Walmart only 10 minutes away. It will also take away business from family run stores putting then out of business.

Comments: Understand the need for commercial development in the Winona area - but this size / scale is excessive and in my view not condusive to the overall community growth and feeling.

Comments: Hamilton homeowners have contributed greatly from their taxes to provide this prestige industrial land along the QEW. Stable, meaningful employment in Hamilton requires that the land remain industrial. City council should not give this land away for a Walmart.

Comments: I am not against development in general. I just feel this is NOT the right time or place for THIS development. This area takes pride in a history and character that would never be represented by such a large and overbearing presence.
