Name: Tom Jenkinson on Jan 10, 2007Comments: Getting time to ride is so hard especially in the winter for anyone in full time school/ work or even part time work. With the addition of flood lights, there will be an increase in skatpark users, not to mention how it will be safer to ride. Many parks over the country have flood lit skateparks and are open till midnight, these parks get used more than any others. The would have no other consequence on local residents as flood lights have the same effect at a distance as the roadlights next to the park.Flag

Name: Sam Rogers on Jan 10, 2007Comments: Lights increase use of the park, are so much safer for all users, do not effect local residents and many popular parks have floodlights. Also due to lighting patterns, users will be able to ride the park at reasonable times at night. Thanks, Sam.Flag

Name: Mark Norton on Jan 10, 2007Comments: As I travel from work in Henley to the park to ride the exelent park and then spend money in the local shops or eateries before going back to home in Oxford Lighting would be a great safety aspect for the park and maybe extend the riding hours in the Autumn/spring.Flag

Name: Daniel Comer on Jan 10, 2007Comments: putting up flood lights will definatly make more people ride the park, esecially when the nights draw in and it would be alot safer aswell, rather than trying to ride the park as the sun goes down.Flag

Name: Tomasz Duda on Jan 10, 2007Comments: It is very important that skateparks are floodlit to later times, as people will still ride the park when it gets dark, and unsafe, adding lights would only make is safer, and more appealing for parents to take their kids their for evening activities. It would only allow more people to make use of the park.Flag

Name: Iain Sellar on Jan 11, 2007Comments: Lights would greatly improve safety and would encourage more regular use of the park during the dark winter evenings. It wouldn't effect the surrounding residents as it will be directly next to the main road which is already lit.Flag

Name: Shane Brooks on Jan 11, 2007Comments: Windsor skatepark could really do with being floodlit during the months where night falls earlier than usual. It would be beneficial as safety would be increased in the park and also popularity gained with the area would be incredible. Being that there arent many houses around the area I cannot see why local occupants would be disturbed or at any inconvienience. This has to be the best idea for the park by far!Flag

Name: Philip Murphy on Jan 11, 2007Comments: floodlights will definetly help the use of the park and will be so much safer to the riders that use it. All of the major, popular parks have floodlights and they dont bother the residents living there. If you put floodlights in they wont bother the windsor residents either. It is a really good idea!!Flag

Name: Samuel Hatton on Jan 11, 2007Comments: adding lights will greatly increase the use of our windsor skatepark, will make the park much more safer, and it will also make it so all our riders/skaters can get much more riding/skating done the whole year round, adding alot of practise. our park is very popular and could do with these lights. most other popular parks have them e.g. longhill, woking, staines and many others. the lights will cause no inconveniance to nearby houses, as there are no nearby houses!Flag
