Name: Anonymous on Nov 29, 2008Comments: this is very upsetting. while not a professional baker i do get paid for my hobby therefore have an obligation to make a cake taste just as beautiful as it looks. i cannot afford to loose business due to the horrible taste of the Wilton fondant so have found other means. some people thought is was standard to just take the fondant off the cake so requested it not be used at all until i started giving samples of the Satin Ice or my homemade recipe. the problem is having to order in the fondant at a higher price yet i have THREE stores that sell everything i could need for decorating with in 5 miles and only carry Wilton brand fondant. with how convienent Wilton products are to purchase if the flavor changed the profit for them would be HUGE too bad they dont seem to care so i have stopped using ALL of their productsFlag

Name: Talfonso on Dec 13, 2009Comments: Thank goodness Muetti uses fondant for modeling only (Hallelujah!) - if I were a cake decorator not falling victim to dweebism by using solely buttercream and going with the flow of the rolled fondant trend, it's the high end fondant brands for me. I neither tried Satin Ice nor did some cake decorating before, but I gotta take the plunge, with sincere apologies to my company I fanned on FB who made their considerably acrid fondant.Flag
