Tell Our Wisconsin Legislators and Governor Doyle that every Veteran who enlisted from Wisconsin Deserves Equal Access to WI GI BILL Education Benefits! Currently there is a movement in the State Senate and Assembly to renege on the promises made to veterans leading up to the 2006 elections. Actions taken recently by the State Senate and Assembly would exclude all Veterans who have been out of the service for more than 10 years. The undersigned citizens wish to communicate clearly to their State elected officials that they DO NOT approve of excluding qualified veterans based on their date of discharge. (No delimiting date is acceptable!)

Michael Haley, United States7 years ago Comments: Those who are out more than 10 years have a greater need for this benefit because they don't have the GI Bill. Many veterans are in a position where they need more education and training but don't have the resources.
