Wigginton Cemetery is supposed to be a place of peace and respect where we lay our loved ones to rest. However, the cemetery gates are no longer closed at night, leaving it wide open for youths to access in the dark. This results in vandalism and theft of sentimental items on graves. This behaviour is disgusting and disrespectful! After an article in the Tamworth Herald failed to attract the attention of the council i was encouraged to start a petition, 1000 signatures are needed to pull the petition infront of the council but obviously the more we get the better! Let our loved ones rest in peace!
