Comments: This problem will only get worse by a factor of ten once the stretch of the southern half of the beltway opens all the way from I-77 to I-85. Truckers and interstate traffic headed nothbound on I-77 will take this route in lieu of heading through the downtown area.

Comments: As more and more folks head toward Union county, the traffic through this section of Pineville is HEAVILY traveled. Once 485 is open to 85, there will trucker traffic that will bypass going through Charlotte...this bottleneck is just horrible. How could anyone have designed this Civil Engineer catastrophe, nonetheless and approval system that thought it would handle the volume

Comments: I think that it is past time to fire our current City Planner and all civil engineers related to the I485 project. This section of I485 will only congest more once it is complete to I85.

Comments: The rules as they are written and being applied to this situation desperately need to be changed. This congestion cost me nearly 3 hours a week sitting in traffic and lost productivity which means fewer tax dollars go to NC, not to mention the reduction in my quality of life, and the value of living in Charlotte, NC. Many of the people being affected by this problem are higher income voters and tax payers.

Comments: The 4 lanes are really 3 lanes and 1 exit only lane with 2 lanes at a major intersection. Furthermore, you have oncoming traffic from a major shopping center.
