The Northern NHS service seem to refuse to treat people who have Crohnes/IBS properly. They seem to think that they know best when it comes to your gut. They mess about for inordinate amounts of time before giving the diagnosis and then they take even longer before they give you any medication. They seem to have a super aversion to prescribing steroids and treat them like their lives are at risk if they give them to you. Further to that THEY DO NOT LISTEN when you tell them what is happening. In my case I can only use Steroids and painkillers and this has always been the case. Last visit to hospital I told the doctor this but he felt he knew better and after spending 4 days in hospital I left with painkillers and steroids, but had to suffer for the 4 days before I got them. They always do CT scans after the flare up and you can't get an MRI for love nor money. They need to be taking care of us much better than they are I am not alone please sign my petition
