These new social networking systems use the GPS on your phone to locate you at anytime day or night, these apps never sleep! They give automated updates to people you have accepted on your profiles as friends as well as those who the network thinks you might want to be friends with! What happened to deciding on our own friends? Should social networking be taking over our lives this way? Once they have'touched' your 'bubble' or profile they can find out as much information as they want about you as they like from very little information from your profile. Frighteningly they can even update your profile with photo's, information anything they like! More frighteningly the updates let others know exactly where you are every minute of the day and night due to their automated alert systems. So every time you stop to check your profile on your phone, any place, any time think about who is really watching you, how safe are you and who is really using these apps? Remember with technology and our need to be constantly up to date with anyone we have accepted as a friend whether we know them or not we are NEVER ALONE!
