Mr. President,

I would ask that you read and acknowledge this petition to repeal prohibition of marijuana and hemp for all Americans to use as they see fit. In this day and age it is wrong that we Americans that use marijuana have to hide and shake with fear to be able to use our medicine of choice. Some use it for recreational purposes, some use it for medicine. But the bottom line is it NOT harmful to society. The laws prohibiting the use of marijuana is what is harmful. In this petition I would ask that you consider making history and help us stop these laws and bring marijuana and hemp and America into the light. You can help bring us clean fuel and efficient housing that all Americans can afford. Prohibition not only hurts Americans, it keeps us from reaping the benifits of this plant. Hemp can provide efficinet sustainable housing at half the cost of a conventional stick frame house. As Americans this plant is in our past, and as President you can return this plant to our future. Give us a chance to prove its not just about getting high.
