Many of us have heard about the Whistleblower Act, but did you know that this does not cover you unless you've reported to the police or government official? It is perfectly legal for your boss to fire you for reporting harassment and general wrongdoings to upper management. This not right, we as workers should be able to demand fair treatment in the work place. This is a petition to add a clause to the Whistleblower Act that allows an employee to take legal action against an employer for firing an employee for filing a complaint with upper management.
