Comments: The initial press release clearly stated a 'Blu-Ray' would be available ... it also mentioned a HD-DVD too, but we'll let that slide. C'mon chaps, play the game. I want my BR DVD of 'When in Rome' and I'm prepared to sulk until I get it !

Comments: Thi sconcert in bluray would be stunning and a major seller and promotion for the format....come on EMI it's a no brainer. I will be buying it on DVD and would also get bluray disc version as well (as it would probably be different packaging) and I bet there are other 'silly' fans like me that would do the same.

Comments: I refuse to buy When In Rome UNTIL it becomes released in Blu-Ray (as originally advertised in the Live In Europe CD). Releasing it as just a standard edition DVD only, in 2008, is really dumb. Especially since the footage was original shot in HD. (Also, I refuse to 'double dip' by buying the regular DVD now, and the Blu-Ray if and when it gets released later, if that's the record company's 'plan'.) In any case, I am boycotting the standard DVD of WIR, for now. But should the powers that be come to their senses, and release it in Blu-Ray, I will GLADLY buy a copy (and perhaps extra copies for my family and friends who also own Blu-Ray players) Otherwise, they have missed a huge opportunity, and at least one less sale.

Comments: After announcing it on the LOE flyer I think its a huge disappointment that its not coming out with the DVD. I can only hope it gets released for Christmas when the number of Blu-ray players being sold it set to increase.

Comments: High Definition is the new standard in video... Why not issue the video in the proper standard of video Releasing it exclusively on standard definition DVD is like putting it out on betamax in the age of vhs. Its just crazy!

Comments: This is a must. I've seen the show in Toronto and with such a visual display (9 million led screen and pyrotechnics) this can only be fully appreciated in bluray. A well renowned such as genesis deserves it. By the way, Elton John did it for it's 60th birthday show and there is no comparison between the regular and bluray dvd.
