Name: Philip J. Smith on May 15, 2007Comments: I started this petition after noticing that several of my coworkers also shop at Whole Foods, and are equally frustrated about the absence of these stores in the entire southern Chicagoland area. After gathering signatures, this petition will be sent to Whole Foods Market, Inc. to show them that we want our own locations in the Chicago's South Suburbs. Thank you!Flag

Name: Joan Kettner on May 16, 2007Comments: Please consider opening a Whole Foods market in the south suburbs. I have traveled to Chicago and to the Willow Brook stores but it is a hardship to get there & would frequent much more if closer. Many more folks I know speak of hoping for one closer also. So, PLEASE investigate the opening of a store farther south. Thank you for consideration. Please consider opening a Whole Foods store in the south suburbs.........we have traveled to Chicago & Willowbrook for WholeFoods but definitely would appreciate having a Whole Foods closer in to our area. Again, please check into the south suburbs for your next location. Thank you.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Nov 6, 2007Comments: I live in the Beverly Hills neighborhood on the south side of Chicago and would DEFINITELY shop at a south side Whole Foods. A neighborhood grocery store has organic produce but not nearly as much as Whole Foods. There are southsiders that eat healthy!Flag

Name: Anonymous on Nov 21, 2007Comments: I shop at several health food stores and have to travel at least 10-30 miles in between. I would definitely shop at Whole Foods on a regular basis. I just found out I have an allergy to wheat, so I need a store that can fulfill my needs locally.Flag

Name: Andrea J. on Dec 5, 2007Comments: I recently learned I am allergic to corn and rice. Unfortunately, corn starch and syrup is in almost everything which means I have to result to organic foods. Sadly, there are no organic food stores in the area where I live. Surprisingly, there's a Whole food's distribution cener in NW indiana less than 5 miles away from my home but no store to shop. We want to eat healthy too. Please consider...Flag

Name: Robert on Dec 21, 2007Comments: A Whole Foods store would do great business in the south suburbs of Chicago. Smaller health food stores thrive in this area, however, often don't have the variety (especially meat, fish & poultry) that a Whole Foods store would bring.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Dec 26, 2007Comments: Yes, we need a Whole Foods in the southland. St. John would be a great place to reach Indiana and Illinois shoppers...and... I think you could have been making money in Orland/Mokena/Frankfort for at least the last 5-10 years, that area is so strong for business.Flag

Name: Marcy Wasinski on Dec 26, 2007Comments: I live in Northwest Indiana and would be happy to make regular trips to Chicago's Southwest suburbs for the choices, value and quality offered by Whole Foods Market. Former Chicagoans like myself don't miss the traffic but we don't have many choices in the marketplace.Flag
