Well it seems that even though there has been a good response on here along with many letters and emails to the BBC, there seems little chance of any reprieve, not even a proper ending, how this can happen to such an iconic show beats me

Maybe a list ditch uproar when everyone gets to see how this series ends might encourage a final special to be commissioned, as this is no way to say goodbye
