Comments: Lunchtime on a Sunday is plain ridiculous. All the other major Derbies can handle a Saturday or evening K.O. why not the Norfolk/Suffolk Police

Comments: Such an early kick off is rediculous! you wouldn't do it for a Man Utd V's Liverpool game so why for a Norwich v Ipswich game

Comments: Seriously, don't take our support for granted. The atmosphere is a big part of what attracts kids and casual fans. (Believe us, it ain't the quality of football!) If the police continue to insist on Sunday lunchtimes, just watch attendances dwindle. It's Ipswich-Norwich for gods sake - both have small (and shrinking) mobs, sure, but surely that's what the clubs pay vast sums for. If the police aren't capable of handling about 100 troublemakers on a Saturday afternoon they 're not doing their job properly.

Comments: A 3pm kick off would be better for me as this brace kills me that early in the morning. The teeth are getting a little straighter though! And I know Dion needs more time to loosen up due to his unfortunate arthritic hip.

Comments: It's a sad indictment on the Norfolk and Suffolk Constabulary that they are incapable of policing the East Anglian derby on a Saturday. They are highlighting their own ineptitude by forcing the clubs to play on a Sunday. The East Anglian derby is hardly World War II - it's just a few country folk attending a football match. Arsenal play Tottenham on a Saturday so what is the problem with Ipswich v Norwich on a Saturday

Comments: The kick off times are now getting rediculous. With public transport being what it is on Sundays if you are rural it takes you hours to get to the game. Nowadays trouble between rival fans is minimal, although policing seems to remain the same

Comments: Footie belongs on Saturdays, Derbies are the pinnacle of footie atmosphere (or should be, if we weren't all hung-over from Saturday night) and Saturday night pub discussions should all be about the derby not about whether the Sunday lunch will be cold after the game.

Comments: I hate the fact that to go to a home derby, I have to leave the house at about 9am in the morning, simply so as to get somewhere to park, and that is ridiculous on a Sunday... so I feel sorry for those that travel away.

Comments: Being an Ipswich supporter who lives in Boston Lincolnshire and one who has to work on sunday evening I think the derby should be returned to the "normal football time" saturday afternoon at 3.In the bad old days when there was trouble games were always boxing day and easter saturday both at 3 and there were never any complaints from the police to move the games so why now when there is very little trouble should we have ridiculous kick off times.

Comments: If London derbies can take place at 3PM on a Saturday, why can't ours Although the rivalry between Ipswich and Norwich is keen, it is largely good-natured, and I personally cannot recall the last time I saw any trouble at a derby game.

Comments: 3pm on a Saturday, or 7:45 on a Tuesday would be ideal. I can't see the police moving that far immediately, but how about gradually loosening the reigns, perhaps an hour at a time and letting a few of the easier to police pubs open

Comments: There really is no need for this game to be played on a Sunday morning or lunchtime unless it is for SKY TV. I have been following Ipswich for 27 years and I honestly do not recall seeing any real trouble between the two sets of fans and certainly not in the last 20 years.

Comments: The match has lacked the atmosphere of a normal derby match ever since the game was moved to an early morning kick-off in the past few years. The game means alot to both the fans and the players and is currently being spoilt by the early start. Bring back a 3pm kickoff!

Comments: Please give us our derby game back. 11:30 on Sunday is a joke. Chelsea v West Ham and Arsenal Tottenham both kick off at 3pm on a Saturday which have 50 times the hooligan numbers either of our clubs have. Even Rnagers v Celtic kicks off at 12:30 on a Saturday for god sake! The Police have it so locked down on derby day there is never any trouble and there would still be no trouble if it kicked off at 3pm on a Saturday. Please see common sense and change it because it has been ruined by the Police.
