Name: Adrian Cope on Nov 22, 2006Comments: I dont see why we are the only derby game where we have to put up with stupid early starts every season. the only thing that they are worried about now is if there's any trouble but the policing is that good that it wouldn't make a difference. take colchester this year we played them on a friday night, we hadn't played them for 50 years yet it was a good atmosphere and there was no trouble. it just tells you how stupid suffolk and norfolk police are that they can't let anyone enjoy the match anymore. we pay 30 quid a ticket and cant enjoy the occasion the police have ruined the game for everyone!!!!!!!!! anyone agreeFlag

Name: Ftnfwest on Nov 22, 2006Comments: Losing boxing day was bad enough without the sort of times we've had to put up with in the last few years. I think it's only been accepted this long because as of the mid nineties there hadn't been a derby for a few seasons.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Nov 22, 2006Comments: I have been to every Derby game for the last 10 years and I swear I have never seen as many Police as there were on Sunday. I thought Saddam Hussein or Pol Pot had come to wage war with the whole of Ipswich when I stumbled bleary eyed out of the station at 10.30 on a sunday morning! These games are no fun anymore and I as well as many others don't feel the excitement of old. Give me Southend away on a saturday at 3pm any day, we all had a great day out there! Let's get the Derby game back at a reasonable hour, it's been too long...Flag

Name: Patrick Eade on Nov 22, 2006Comments: How can you set the scene for such a great occasion at 11.30am on a Sunday Evening's midweek, or Sat at 3pm for a full house + great atmosphere both on and off the pitch....there's more anticipation and build up too, as opposed to stumbling out of bed and heading off first thing!Flag

Name: Martin Owens on Nov 22, 2006Comments: It just wasnt the same, I had to get up early on a sun, and rush to the ground. I would have much preferred to spend a few hours in a pub, soaking up the atmosphere, before walking amongst 1000's of fellow town fans singing songs in the streetFlag
