We the people of Polk County and surrounding areas bring forth this petition in the hopes that WGAA radio owned by Burgess Broadcasting Company, Inc. will take into consideration our request to bring back Clarence Gipson AKA Big Boy to his regular time slot at WGAA Radio. Clarence has won the hearts of the listeners with his kindness and willingness to give back to his community. We feel that Clarence does an excellent job and his presence is sorely missed. His personality and kindness comes through with each trading post call that he answers. He has a way of making all callers feel that they are important. We feel that the decision to remove Clarence from the trading post was done in haste and without thought of the repurcussions that would arise from such a decision. We urge WGAA to reconsider this decision and take into consideration the voices of the listeners. ATTN: This petition was succesful after being in force for less than two days. Word got around and Big Boy was re-instated on July 28th, 2007. Thank you all for your support...thanks to ipetitions for giving us this outlet. We didn\'t even get started good and we were victorious.
