   Comments: My family is so excited about having such a top notch facility in our community. Like so many other families in the area, we spend a lot of time in the car traveling to similar facilities throughout Western NY. It will be so wonderful to have this in our own back yards and give the busy parents in the area some valuable travel time back. In addition, the facility will naturally bring in families from Canada and other areas throughout New York. I can only imagine what this will do for the local businesses in our community as well as the creation of jobs this will spark. In this world of Facebook and X-Box, it is so important to keep our children actively involved in sports through those tough winter months. Even those that are not enrolled in specific sports will benefit by being able to utilize the facility for pick up hockey, soccer, etc. during "open" play times. It is also important for the seniors of our community to have a structurally sound building to congregate with their peers as well as interact with people of all ages. The 6300 square foot Senior Center will accomdate their growing needs that the current facility does not provide. As a future senior in this community, I am very happy to know that this will be there for me down the road. Hats off to the planning committee for all their hard work and dedication to this much needed project!

    Comments: My sister has one of these centers by her home in Miami and she and her family enjoy it very much. I think a center like this in Lewiston will be used and appreciated by all age groups.
