    Comments: I am currently President of Niagara Pioneer Soccer League (NPSL). NPSL, in existence since the 1970s, serves the local community by providing opportunities to play organized soccer either for recreation (our House League) or in a more competitive environment (our Travel League). We serve about 1,000 youth from the Lewiston-Youngstown area each year through our various programs. Presently, NPSL teams travel as far as Elma, NY during the winter for practice times as well as for competitive games in an indoor environment. I am certain a Lewiston Recreation and Senior Center would be in high demand as soccer is only one of the many outdoor sports in need of indoor space during the winter months. Such a facility has the potential to bring in hundreds, if not thousands of guests a year looking for opportunities to play and practice indoor during the winter months.
