   Comments: It is my experience that most children adjust very well to a change of school if their parents are not upset by it. It is more difficult for high school juniors and seniors. Exceptions should be made for them. Don't underestimate the children.

    Comments: Please make allowances for options for all current high school students to minimize disruption. South Lakes, like Oakton and all the schools in the redistricting, is a great school with much to offer its students--as those who have taken the time to investigate have discovered.

    Comments: Though we have not been vocal at redistricting meetings, there are a large number of us who support the redistricting, and believe that our children, who we are happy to see heading for South Lakes, deserve as many opportunities for a rich education and chances to get into college as any other students in the county. A magnet school at South Lakes is NOT a simple answer to this problem.
