Comments: i am completely furious that they would talk this way about BIG ZOO like this. they could not be more wrong about him. people need to understand that RAP is ENTERTAINMENT. every good rapper tries to paint a picture with his words. sometimes its negative, sometimes its positive. BIG ZOO rapping about guns in one song is no different then Nicolas Cage selling guns to everyone in Lord of War. no different than when Denzel Washington blew some guys head off in American Gangster. My 9 is desperate right now and they're stooping real low for some bullshit ratings.

Comments: I can't even begin to express how disappointed I am to see somebody like Big Zoo depicted so negatively on the local news. He does not deserve this type of treatment. They should be ashamed of themselves for stooping to this level, because Your9 (they certainly aren't "My") really dropped the ball on this one.

Comments: As I've said numerous times about Christopher Finn; he is a mentor to many youths and a big brother to a lot of teens and elders across the world. This is a man who motivates youths, articulates positivity in our community, promotes unity, encourages history, and forward movement in his "MUSIC". Unfortunately because of the wrongful intentions/allegations of My9 news and whoever edited footage, they allow the public to misconstrue what Christopher Finn is saying. I can say this because I was there through out a lot of that footage. They might have cut me out of the video clips but they won't cut me out of the big picture to stand up for my friend who has often encouraged me to return back to college, to pursue dreams, and to continue to live positive. I, Kevin Minton, who also is a rapper/mc, supports Christopher Finn a.k.a. Big Zoo and ask that he, his family, and everyone around practice what he preaches; stay positive Bless.....

Comments: As a rapper, Big Zoo goes into environments rich with negativity and shines his positive light every single night. So many rappers that are bad for kids and nobody says anything. Then you have a rapper GREAT for kids and this nonsense. How ridiculous.

Comments: just watched the news report>>pretty messed up>>>zoo has been nothing but an influence to many lost souls who chose hip hop over a life of distruction>>he provides a safe haven of love and support to all artist he has come incounter with everywhere especially at the dub>>from the little i know about him i know that he pushes everyone including ... See Moreyounger teens to never stop pushing and keep hip hop which they have made their lives instead of drugs or crime their life..welcomed all artist with open arms to express their deepest thoughts through music again other then expressing themselves by acting out with hate or violence...i dont know zoo other then being zoo but i can only imagine how he has positvely influenced young students of his as he has friends of mine that attend the spots where he preforms>>...parents seeing him speak on weed and alcohol and having it on youtube where the children he teaches can see it have every right to be upset but they are the same parents who buy their children cds to listen to or ipods to downloads millions of songs from rappers who rap about even worse>>parents who get tickets for concerts and everything to support rappers who do even worse>>my thoughts and prayers are with you all...if there is anything i can do to help please let me know.. i am a strong supporter of BIG ZOO and will continue to be

Comments: We have leaders who send out orders for covert assassinations and drug deals... but when a young man who is an educator who just so happens to rap... Oh he's a bad influence! We have people starving, a failing economy, energy crisis and this is what the media wants to bring to light? Come on!!! Let's be realistic as long as Mr. Finn isn't in his schools promoting his personal dealings, how would any of the kids have knowledge of it? Which leads me to my bigger issue/point... IF YOU ARE A PARENT AND DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOUR CHILDREN ARE WATCHING LET ALONE CONTROLLING WHAT YOUR CHILDREN ARE WATCHING, (specially on the internet) THEN YOU ARE A BAD PARENT!!! Lets not ruin a man's source of income just because as always people have to blame someone else for their own short falls!

Comments: Christopher Finn A.K.A Big Zoo is a positive contributor to his community. Both in his professional life and his private life. It deeply upsets me and my peers what the media has portrayed him to be. This is false and should be corrected. We stand behind Big Zoo 100% and know what a incredible individual he really is.

Comments: Christopher "Big Zoo" Finn, and the entire End Of The Week family for that matter, provide a positive outlet on a weekly basis for an entire community of people for whom positivity is not always readily available. For many Big Zoo acts as big brother, as a role model to look up to in much the same way as he does for his students who know him as Mr. Finn. Though the language may be different from the class room to the stage, in both Mr. Finn excels in supporting, encouraging and guiding youths that come to him for knowledge and know how and I hope that both his pupils in the class room as well as his pupils on stage will continue to be granted the opportunity to follow in his undeniable talent of leadership. If not, the world in general and the city of Newark more specifically will be at a loss. I stand in complete support of Christopher Finn and his continued success as an educator in the city of Newark.

Comments: Unfortunately it seems that many assumptions were made about Big Zoo's character simply because he raps. Despite the popularization of a particular facet of hip hop culture, trust that it is NOT ALL about criminality and misogyny. Futhermore, a more comprehensive journalistic investigation of Big Zoo would only serve to shine light on this person's character, integrity, and respect for people, artists, individual expression and the hip hop culture.
