The petition

--I oppose Text Amendment 562 which would amend the Westport, CT zoning regulations to allow high-density residential development in Westport's single family neighborhood.

--I also oppose the applications filed by Redcoat Development that would make the Gorham Avenue neighborhood the first of Westport's residential neighborhoods to be re-zoned and developed under the new zone created by Text Amendment 562 with the construction of a high-density condominium development on 1.5 acres.

--While I oppose this attempt to impose inappropriate and ultra-dense housing on Westport's single-family neighborhoods, I also call upon Westport town officials to develop and implement a plan that will provide affordable housing in Westport that is appropriate for the town to its municipal employees and other workers.

Note to Signers: Once you click to submit your signature you will be taken to a page asking for contributions for the people that host this petition, iPetitions. They are not asking for a donation to Gorham Neighbors or any organization related with Westport or 562. I am in the process of fixing this.
