    Comments: Cape Clear Island Museum and the Cork Place Names Survey is indebeted to 103 FM and the West Cork Today Team for their help in hightlighting the voluntary community work undertaken by the committees of these two projects which are dedicated to the preservation of local identity. The West Cork Today Show has provided a very valuable and much appreciated service to the islands and West Cork community. We urge UTV Media to continue giving a voice to local communities in the West Cork region.     Comments: I was shocked that west cork today was axed and more so that david young was sacked especially as he was head hunted to join west cork radio. I cannot bear to listen to patricia messenger, her accent makes me cringe so i listen to another station while she is on.
