Welsh regions - please release the players

We call on the Cardiff Blues, the Llanelli Scarlets, the Neath-Swansea Ospreys and the Newport Gwent Dragons to make a joint statement announcing that they will: - Release their international players to train with Wales next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, - Continue to engage in discussions with the WRU in order to ensure success for both the national and regional sides, including discussions regarding any monies they may be owed, but to do so without restricting international player availability wherever possible, and - Commit to a new future in which the WRU and the regions work together in partnership for the future of the game in Wales, without allowing personal animosity to play any further part in the management of the game we all love. *** Rydym yn galw ar Gleision Caeryddd, Sgarlets Llanelli, Gweilch Castell Nedd-Abertawe a Dreigiau Casnewydd Gwent i wneud datganiad ar y cyd yn ymrwymo i: - Ryddhau eu chwaraewyr rhyngwladol i hyfforddi gyda Chymru dydd Llun, dydd Mawrth a dydd Mercher nesaf, - Barhau i drafod gydag Undeb Rygbi Cymru er mwyn sicrhau llwyddiant i'r timau cenedlaethol a rhanbarthol, gan gynnwys parhau i drafod unrhyw arian sydd yn ddyledus iddynt, ond gan wneud hyn heb gyfyngu ar argaeledd chwaraewyr rhyngwladol lle bynnag bo modd, ac - Ymrwymo i ddyfodol newydd lle bydd yr Undeb a'r rhanbarthau yn gweithio mewn partneriaeth er lles dyfodol y gem yng Ngymru, heb ganiatau i elyniaeth personol chwarae unrhyw ran bellach yn rheolaeth y gem rydym oll yn ei charu.
