The petition

We the undersigned, protest the appointments of Mir Israrullah Zehri and Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani for their appointments as Federal Postal Minister and Federal Education Minister, respectively.
Mir Israrullah Zehri defended the acts of burying five women alive by saying."These are centuries-old traditions, and I will continue to defend them."
Bijarani headed a jirga (a tribal assembly) in 2006 and made the decision to settle a feud between two warring tribes by awarding them five little girls, from two to five years old.
We are shocked and outraged at these barbaric events and appalled that these two men who are so blatantly flouting impunity from law, religion and humanity are appointed to represent the people of Pakistan, and direct the Islamic Republic Of Pakistan's education policy, and other important matters.
We urge you to rescind their appointments immediately, as they are clearly not fit to hold these important posts, and bring disgrace to Pakistan in its world standing.
