Honor Weaver Elementary out-of-district sibling policy

Welcome Fellow Weaver Parent,As I'm sure you've heard, officially or unofficially, Weaver is in the process of changing its siblings admission policy, and placing out-of-district siblings as a LOW PRIORITY.When we all enrolled our older kids at Weaver, it was with the understanding that siblings (ALL siblings) will be given FIRST priority for admission.This year, the School Board is trying to change this policy and make a distinction between in-district siblings and out-of-district siblings, so much so that our new kindergardeners will more than likely not be admitted next year.I hope you agree that this is unfair. We can't sit around waiting to hear from them. THEY NEED TO HEAR FROM US!Weaver has risen to its number one status with about 40% out-of-district population.Please sign!

One parent attended the last board meeting and was given three minutes to present her case.  We could do better than that!  There is power in numbers.  Either come to share three minutes of your own opinion, or stand and support.                                       Scheduled for Tuesday February 28, at 6:30pmBoard of Education meetings begin at 6:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted.
