I\'ve just returned from Glastonbury and got some depressing news over there.
Edward James of 24 Roman Way has put in a planning application to build executive houses on the hill, near the mini roundabout under the bit where the hawthorn tree stands.
According to Mendip District Council, Wearyall Hill is of \'no significance whatsoever\' and any spirititual or religious significance attributed to it by anybody is \'all in the mind and irrelevant.\' They see no problem with this development whatsoever. Please sign the petition and help us to make them see reason, help stop the build!
