Stop the build on Wearyall Hill

I\'ve just returned from Glastonbury and got some depressing news over there. Edward James of 24 Roman Way has put in a planning application to build executive houses on the hill, near the mini roundabout under the bit where the hawthorn tree stands. According to Mendip District Council, Wearyall Hill is of \'no significance whatsoever\' and any spirititual or religious significance attributed to it by anybody is \'all in the mind and irrelevant.\' They see no problem with this development whatsoever. Please sign the petition and help us to make them see reason, help stop the build!

The Amsterdam Seedgroup in The Netherlands is a seedgroup affiliated to The Druid Network and OBOD, the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids. Based in the West of the Netherlands and founded in July 2004, our group consists of members with different spiritual backgrounds. We gather for monthly study and for the 8 festivals, which we celebrate publicly (seriously interested persons can participate). The members live all over the country, so although we started off as a local group, we now have a national character. Our founder,Torc Bloos, compiles the study material so that this activity is not exclusive to OBOD members. During the study gatherings both Dutch and English are spoken, as we have some English speaking members (when they partake in ritual, they speak their parts in English, while the rest is in Dutch).

Comments: Shame on anyone trying to destroy a Holy sight. Keep your head down. God's in charge of the lightening bolts!

Comments: Wearyall Hill is one of the most potent spiritual spots on the earth. Its energy there is beautiful and divine. To be there is to find again the innocence of childhood, the lost paradise.
