    Comments: It really was unjust to finish such a popular franchise with a massive build-up with such a weak anti-climax during the last 3 or so episodes. The current ending is so unsatisfactory that it begs belief: so much was made of Arthur being the one to unite the kingdoms and legalise magic (which clearly he cannot do) and the one moment where Merlin's superior magic was supposed to show through was wasted on a crude stab of a sword. Merlin was fast becoming a much-loved classic, it's only right to tie in the many plot holes (e.g. King Arthur didn't even slay a dragon - the easiest legend to follow!) with a well written closing season.

    Comments: The end did not sound it Wright at all a lot more CAN be devoloppe to make it rigth and full filled with the stoty. I CAN understand that the actor feel it maybe in of but they were prépare to it, they knew that it was for 5 years! But for us it´s been just rush to it´s end. Just please have a re- think about it,more CAN be tald about this great story and this superb caractheres, your cast is so righ for it to! They are the caractères they live in them! Sorry about my English writing but I lost it à bit since I am back to France. But all I say come rigth from the deep of my heart. Please, Please, Please let us understand why it is the End. Merci

    Comments: Is terrible the way it ends a delightful serie and unpretentious, which one would expect at least that its protagonist does not have to suffer like a dog all his life... Thanks for making me hate a series that I loved so much, and that I will not want to see again. Is it okay for 5 seasons, if 5 had to be, but the end has nothing to do with the series, it makes no sense, it is a malice. I do not buy the complete series,

    Comments: The series left more questions than answers for the viewers. Throughout history, every man who has been a leader of a country, had advisors or an advisor who worked by his side. Many times, that person became a friend or began as a friend. The legend of Arthur and Merlin varies depending upon the time in history the writing took place. But throughout history, the relationship between Arthur and Merlin often spoke of the advisor/friend relationship that these two men shared that empowered Arthur to rule over a untied KIngdom for a time. This aspect of their relationship, though hinted in the last two episodes, was never illustrated and that is perhaps the most important part of the legend in regards to the bond shared between these two legendary figures. So please either bring back the series for one more season to fill in the gap or produce a mini series to fill in the missing pieces between the ending of season four and the finale in season 5. though Arthur's greatness is implied, it is never truly developed.
