We will boycott Carl Froch's next fight if he refuses to sign for a rematch with George Groves. This is the correct thing to do and it is what the public wants. Carl Froch says he takes fights that the public demand (Mikkel Kessler 2, anyone?) so it is right and fair that he takes the rematch.
The stoppage was premature, but no one knows how it would have ended if it did not happen. Maybe Carl would have won, but maybe George would have recovered and continued his lead.
Eddie Hearn and Rob McCracken, take note. The public want and need this fight. It's good for boxing.
We do not want to see Carl avoid George and fight someone else.
